"Here In My Heart" and what it's all about
This is a fan page for our favorite singer Tiffany. It was first online on July 12, 1999
Tiffany is most known for her first two hit singles "I think we're alone now" and "Could've been".
They both reached the #1 position in the US charts in the late '87 and the beginning of '88.
Both songs also have reached the number one position in some other countries worldwide.
The songs have been taken from her debut album "Tiffany" (1987). She was only 15 when this album was recorded
and she has been the youngest female singer who ever reached the number one position in the US charts.
Her first album was sold more than four million times only in the US.
Her second album "Hold An Old Friend's Hand" (1988) was sold more than one million times in the US but
her third album "New Inside" (1990) was one of the reasons that her former success began to fade.
None of the songs has reached the US charts even though this album contains one of her most beautiful songs
"Here in my heart".
Things have become more incomprehensible with her fourth album "Dreams Never Die" (1993). This album was
very successful in Asia (especially in Japan) and went triple platinum there. It's for sure her best album
(and it was her last one until now), but it never was published in Europe or in the US. None of her fans will
ever understand while this has happened.
Tiffany also did some recordings beside her four albums. She appears on the Jetsons movie soundtrack
with three songs (1990) and was the voice for Judy Jetson. Her last recordings have been from 1995 on the
"All The Best" album which also only was published in Asia (and therefore is difficult to get).
This album contains two songs that never have been on any other album. The same year she also did a duet with
Rick Rhodes and one of her most impressive songs "You Don't Belong Down Here" on the "In Harmony
With The Homeless" album.
It was a pleasure to hear that Tiffany is back in music business and has released a new song in 1999
("New year's day" her first official recording since 1995!!!).
Her attempts to start a comeback in country music have been in vain because of a bad management (1997).
"Singers who have influenced Tiffany include Aretha Franklin, Stevie Nicks, Luther Vandross and
Barbra Streisand." (Las Vegas Showbiz, July 25-31,1993)
Her impressive and unique voice is one of the reasons that she still has a lot of devoted fans worldwide.
This website was created to keep her in mind and to help all her fans to get any news about her. Also most of her
recordings are out of print an therefore difficult to find (and sometimes very expensive because they only have been
published in Asia).
This place offers sound samples of all of her songs (because there are still a lot Tiffany fans who never
have been able to listen to all of them).
We know that Tiffany is trying a comeback in rock/pop music and wish her all the best to be successful.
This website should help her a little bit to get the attention she deserves. All her fans are the most
faithful and nicely people I have ever known. Most of them know about Tiffany's ups and downs in her musical career
and always kept the faith.
Tiffany, if you'll ever read this lines it would be nice to get any news from yourself (and that's for sure,
we will keep your privacy)! You should find a way to contact your fans, because I think we're are able to help you a little bit to be successful with a comeback. The internet is the future media for music artists!
Thomas (September 1999)
Thank you sooooooooooo much for coming back!
Thomas (February 2000)
So I say Thank you for the music, the songs I'm singing
Thanks for all the joy they're bringing
Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty
What would life be, without a song or a dance, what are we
So I say, thank you for the music, for giving it to me
(Benny Andersson - Bjoern Ulvaeus/ABBA, 1977)
