Thomas - Webmaster of "Here In My heart"

This is Thomas, one of the webmasters of "Here In My Heart" and this is my story of how I found out about Tiffany:

I first listened to Tiffany's music in 1987. She wasn't as well known in Germany as she was in the US at that time. I was listening to the US chart positions and heard about an unknown 16 year old  teenager, who was able to push Michael Jackson's Bad from #1. Some weeks later I heard about her second #1 song. So I decided to look for that CD. Her first hit "I Think We're alone now" made it's way into the German charts in the beginning of 1988 (at that time it always took a bit longer for everything to cross the Atlantic).

My first "child's travel document"

I liked her first album very much and recognized her second one on MTV. Well that was 1988 and I have listened to these two albums from time to time. One of my fave songs from her was "Promises made". I didn't know anything besides these two albums until the middle of 1998!!! That was the time that I  listened to her first CD and then I started surfing the net. I started to torment the search-engines with T I F F A N Y and after some more attempts  I did find Dan's homepage http://www.tiffany.org with all his great info about her. I was surprised when reading about the other albums. I thought she had only done the first two albums and then disappeared from the music scene. But I was wrong! I found all the other websites (that was easy then) and read about the comments on "Dreams Never Die" but only read it superficially . I started to look for her CD's in the local stores in Germany (but that was only waste of time as I learned the hard way).
During my vacation in the States in 1998 I searched for CD's in some stores too. I found her "Greatest Hits" and "New Inside" albums in a store with used CD's. My fave song became "Here in my heart" and this song was the reason to search for all the other songs from her. I decided to name this website the same name, because this song was the stimulus for everything what happened after that.

My original "certificate of birth" in Arabic, so read it from right to left :-)

I ordered "Dreams Never Die" and "All The Best" via the internet (where else will you get these CD's???) and received them both on one weekend (from different sellers). I was blown away when I listened to them!!! I started to read the fan-pages more carefully after this and learned about her rare b-sides (check out  our collection).

Death Valley, Dante's View 1998

I've tried to look for some sound samples of these songs and all the others, that I  was never able to listen to. But I didn't find all of them on the other websites for her. My second problem was - where to get all these b-sides, especially on CD (because I don't like the old vinyls and haven't used my record player in years). With a hint from a friend I've found a lot of them on the internet. Special thanks to David from Phase 2, that was the place I got most of the rare CD-singles from Tiffany. Because it was so difficult to find them all and because of the nice feedback I once received  for  my posting, I decided to create my own homepage for TIFFANY.

She is my all-time favorite singer and will remain here in my heart!
