Message from Tiffany
Hi, this is Tiffany, and I'd like to say konnichi wa to all my fans in Japan. For the last year I've been working on my new album which is entitled "New Inside" and "New Inside", the title track, is one of my favorite songs. It sort of describes what I'm going through right now in my personal life and all my new changes. And I think everybody will know that I kind of look different. But I think that just comes from growing up and getting older, so I hope everybody likes the new look.
The first single is entitled "New Inside" which is one of my favorite songs off the album. It's sort of an up tempo dance song but it's not real dance. The whole album isn't real dance. It has some songs like "Here In My Heart" which is a great ballad which was written by Diane Warren, who's written songs for Heart and Cheap Trick. And another favorite song of mine is "Tenderly" which is a ballad as well, but it sort of has a funky groove at the same time.
This music is completely different from the music from before for the last two albums and I've always wanted to do R&B and now it's great because I'm getting the chance to do it.
I worked with two producers on this album, Maurice Starr and Phillip Damien, who you might know. He produces "The New Kids On The Block". It's a big difference with R&B and sort of a dance mix combo together. Yet it still has some ballads which sort of remind me of along the lines of "Could've Been".
Besides recording the new album I also bought a house which is about an hour outside of L.A. And it's great because my house reminds me sort of like a park like setting. I'm really kind of an outdoors type of person and that's probably why I like Japan so much because of the trees and the people outdoors. And when I was there I spend most of my time, whatever time I had, walking around the streets and getting a feel for all the people there.
Something exciting to me is I have a new recording studio at my house and also a dance studio where I rehearse, sometimes three, four hours a day with my new choreographers, getting the tour situation all hooked uup before I go on tour which probably will be after the first of the year.
Actually I have three dogs, a chow named Raider, a pit bull named Sam, Samantha and a Doberman named Jezebel. And I alos have a cat named Jezebel and three rabbits. And fish on the way and also birds, so I have my own little farm.
Some of you might notice that I've changed my fashion a little bit, my style. I dyed my hair a little bit darker which I'd never done that before and I really like it. I hope everyone else does. And my clothes, I'm getting into a little bit different style. I'm wearing more different colors. Before I usually only wore black because that's my favorite color, still is, but I've been persuaded to wear different colors and with my hair dyed darker I'm allowed to wear different colors, it looks better.
