Well it all began way back in like 1987. There was
this cassette tape lying on the floor. God I had to
be like 10 years old. Anyways it was a "Tiffany"
tape. My older cousin was into Tiffany and she was
about Tiff's age. So that was the first time I seen
her face. I still hadn't listened to her music until
I got into the "New Kid's on the Block". I remember
every time I seen New Kid's I seen Tiffany! They
spoke so fondly of her so I had to check her out.
I'am so happy that I did, and have had that chance to
grow up on her music! I remember watching this old
video tape and Tiffany was sitting on the couch eating
lunch while The New Kid's huddled in front of her.
They barely had any room to breathe! She was eating a
sandwich and smiling really big. They were
auditioning for her because they were in desperate
need of a break and Tiffany was the one who gave it to
them!
So anyways I began to listen to her more and more
and had the chance to see her because I went to see
the New Kid's. Then I went crazy and started buying
her tapes and singing her songs wherever I went! I
made my friends listen to her, and I still do that
today. If you are ever in your car and you hear a
Tiffany song playing, chances are it's me! I cruise
down the streets all the time blaring her music for
ALL TO HEAR!
There were moments when I became bitter with her
when she and Jon were over and I wasn't hearing
anything from her. I regret feeliing this way. So
Debbie Gibson kinda took over my heart. I neglected
Tiff in a big way and spent time and money on Deborah.
I met Debbie and she is just as sweet and the same
person she was 10 years ago, just older. But
something was missing. I went home and replayed some
of Tiff's songs and I almost bawled! I'am like, What
happened to her, I really miss her now? I want to
meet her too! She is like one of my idols ya know.
So to make a long story short because this is long, I
found the internet and looked up Tiffany info. I
updated myself on her life with husband and child, and
just really get invloved with her career. I have had
tons of catching up to do, but I'am greatful. No
words can describe how phenomenal she is! I'am amazed
to this day when I hear her older material and just to
know that a 16 year old was singing with so much soul.
She deserves so much more credit and I'am out to make
sure she gets it. I'am sure other Tiff fans can agree
with that.
